Dr Mithuna Vasudevan completed her BDS in 2001 and an MDS in Orthodontics in 2005 in India. She is by examination, holds a Membership in Orthodontics from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has gone on to study under some of the world-renowned Orthodontists. In 2006, she completed the New Zealand Dental Registration Examination process and is now a registered General Dental Practitioner who limits herself to Orthodontic practice in Tauranga, New Zealand. She has been an award-winning student throughout her career right from school through to dental university including a University gold medal for scoring the best aggregate.
Mithuna loves the work she does at her Orthodontic practice. She enjoys taking the time to get to know patients and their families, and being able to share in the celebration that comes with a transformed smile. She understands that orthodontic work involves the whole family and she makes sure each patient gets the personal attention he or she deserves. She takes the time to explain about the treatment being done and loves enhancing smiles using the most innovative orthodontic solutions and technologies.
Mithuna’s patients know that she is genuinely invested in providing the highest quality of care possible in a caring, committed and nurturing environment.
She has been providing Orthodontic care in the Bay of Plenty Region since 2006. She is a busy Mother juggling many things and enjoys serving the Tauranga community along with her husband Venkat.
